2016 Jeep Wrangler-For the extremist in all of us!
How would you like to be driving the newest and most innovative Jeep Wrangler ever made? Would it be one of the best perks to know that the 2016 Jeep Wrangler will have a lighter build, along with even more powertrain ability? Well you are in luck! She is on her way! On the manufacturing line now! This is a very exciting day for Jeep, knowing that the Wrangler is an all-terrain vehicle, great for work and play! This has been one of the most efficient vehicles for the past 50 years, starting with World War II, and the perk of being an American made vehicle. Now these are just thoughts, but let's look at a few details….
Performance
Since the ending of World War II, Jeep Wrangler has been through many changes. This vehicle was then and is now the symbol of masculinity and performs as such. Choice of this vehicle is due to the need for an all-terrain vehicle and since WWII she has not only stayed the course of this hard working vehicle. She is designed to be a work horse, but today not only is she a work horse, but she has style and sophistication to boot, with the new ideas built in this concept car and will be much more luxurious than her predecessors along with more power and fuel efficiency.
Redesign
With the possibility of aluminum doors, and the new rear axle, this could be a new lighter version of the Jeep Wrangler along with several other new ideas in design such as, the new dimensions of the wheelbase, the lighter mechanisms of the axles and the larger tires on the front end, and all of this to maintain the new fuel efficiencies called for by the CAFE and because this is the heavier all-terrain vehicle, these changes are necessary and the redesign for these necessities are being put in place now to be ready and available for the 2016 output for without these changes, and a lighter vehicle, the EPA will fine Chrysler for each vehicle sold.
The new choices in color will give the buyer better choices and with the new design of the bumper, the visual appearance will have a grander appeal with the redesign for more leg room lending to the more classy look with the new interior design with leather seating available and the new dashboard design.
Fuel Economy
With the gas engine being in the neighborhood of 13 to 25 miles per gallon, the 2016 Jeep Wrangler will also be coming out with a diesel engine! This will allow for 30+ miles per gallon! Now that is great to hear being that diesel burns cleaner than gasoline, therefore the EPA will also be pleased with the use of the 3.0 Diesel Engine carrying 420 horse power that has been introduced in the Jeep Grand Cherokee. This will be the first Jeep wrangler sold on American soil as a diesel fuel driven engine. Face it, with the fuel process driving higher and higher, in Canada, flocculating between $4.50 and $6.00, the diesel engine will be quite refreshing in this heavy duty Jeep.
Price Tag
Rumor has it that the price tag for the basic model of the 2016 Jeep Wrangler could be as low as $23,000.00 to $30,000.00, and could be available as soon as the end of next year. Keep in mind that the pricing will depend on the perks and adding the diesel engine will probably tack on close to $5000.00 more according to sources I spoke too at the Local Chrysler/ Jeep Dealership personnel.
